Kim Kiyosaki is a powerhouse in the financial education industry as a co-founder of The Rich Dad Company, an in-demand international speaker, and a best selling author.
She met the man who would eventually become her husband and business partner, Robert Kiyosaki, in 1984. He and his friends were all entrepreneurs, and encouraged and supported her in becoming an entrepreneur as well, which she did that same year. From there she and Robert went on to build several businesses, the most well-known and successful being The Rich Dad Company.
Around the same time, she also began investing in real estate, and today, owns thousands of rental properties, as well as hotels, golf courses, commercial properties, and other business investments.
But early in her journey, Kiyosaki realized there was a huge void for women when it came to financial education. So she took it upon herself to solve that by developing books, seminars, and other financial education products specifically for women and the unique challenges they face.
Essentially, she chose to be the mentor for other women that she wished she had when she was younger.
