Oggie Penev is a real estate broker, investor, and entrepreneur. Born in Bulgaria, he moved to the United States when he was 22. In 2005, Oggie became a full-time real estate agent, and in 2010 he became a broker and opened Realty Partners, a full-service residential brokerage focusing on distressed sales.
Currently Oggie helps clients with residential sales trough his agent’s team Realty Advisors. He is also the founder of ProEx Realty Management, a long-term property management brokerage, Mom and Dad’s Home, a senior living transitioning real estate company, and Home Pro Invest, an investment company that specializes in direct-to-seller acquisitions and trustee sales bidding.
In his 18 years in real estate, Oggie has bought, sold, managed, evaluated, and negotiated real estate transactions worth more than one billion dollars. As a real estate broker, active investor, property manager, and rental portfolio owner, Oggie has a unique 360-degree view of the real estate investment business. He has developed many creative techniques over the years to maximize the ROI of rental portfolios, including his well- known “BRRRR on Steroids” method.
Oggie is passionate about helping fellow investors and clients structure buy and hold deals, which naturally led to a new venture. In 2022, he started The Buy And Hold Academy, a consulting company that helps investors level up and create a thriving business by learning and implementing creative real estate, tax, legal, and financing strategies related to buy and hold investing. The academy teaches investors the nuances of finding the best rental deals, buying them under the right legal entity, and choosing the right tax structure so they pay low taxes or no taxes at all, while still being able to get unlimited conventional financing.
Oggie openly admits that he owes much of his success to standing on the shoulders of his coaches, some of whom are in the Family Mastermind, and humbly following their guidance. While Oggie loves the real estate business, his true inspiration is his family. He and his wife Tina have two children, Martina and Deia.
