Ray Zhang is the epitome of the American dream. After leaving China to come to here in 2011, he got off to a rough start and soon became homeless, but he didn’t let that stop him.
While living in his car and looking for ways to get back on his feet, he began to look for items people were giving away online, like furniture, appliances, clothes, and then flipping them for a profit. This gave him the income and confidence he needed to rebuild his life. Soon he began flipping cars, and then he tried his hand at real estate, but that was a failure.
As he began exploring other ways to build a successful real estate career, he spotted an opportunity in land and quickly realized he had a knack for it. In his first year as a real estate investor specializing in land, he generated more than $800,000 in pure profit and put himself on a path to massive success.
That was when he decided to make it his mission to help others who want to follow in his path, minus the failures and losses, by offering a coaching program to give them a step by step blueprint and personalized mentoring. That quickly grew from just a few students when he first started the program, to well over 100 students today.
Zhang attributes the growth of his coaching program to both his own knowledge and advice from his own mentors, including investing giants like Tom Kroll and Joe McCall, on how to run an effective coaching program.
He says he loves investing in land because it’s relatively straightforward, even for beginners, and can be done from literally anywhere, and that’s why this is the strategy he focuses on for his students.
