Ricardo Rosales was born in the United States but lived part of his life in the country of origin of his family, Venezuela. Years later he returned to the States.
Spending his youth in the Latin American country from the age of 12, he was in contact with a party atmosphere where young people had access to alcohol from very young age.
Despite this, from the age of 8 he worked with his father, and at 21 he ran his father’s insurance company; however, the differences between the two caused Ricardo to decide to start a new path on his own.
After his departure, he joined the military where he served for four years with the main intention of providing for his daughter and then started in the oil and gas business where he learned the true value of money and started with his savings.
Finally, in 2008, he started in the real estate world after buying his first property. He became a landlord forcibly because he did not have the proper mentoring and the market at the time did not help with selling properties. He started selling these properties in 2012.
In 2017 Ricardo started experiencing a series of setbacks that came from dealing with hurricane Harvey. At the time Ricardo was in the middle of fix and flipping 47 properties with around $15 million in loans and lost all his construction crews due to the amount of work in the area with all the flooded properties, which forced him to be on the verge of filing bankruptcy. He had some properties foreclosed on, which is what forced him to become a wholesaler. He has now completed more than 500 fix and flips and 1000 wholesale transactions.
Currently Ricardo is a nationwide wholesaler, real estate investor, and landlord and he provides a training program for entrepreneurs in the world of real estate called More Deals than the Gurus. Additionally, Ricardo presents his own podcast called The Real Estate Entrepreneurs. He also is the co-founder of REI Stacked, which is a technology company with services for real estate investors.
Ricardo has bounced back from many setbacks and is now set on the path to show others the real estate business due to his good and bad experiences.
